「雨」は、"rain" で、動詞の意味と名詞の意味があります。

紹介されている表現は以下です。

Rain falls from the clouds.

It's raining!

I love (the) rain.
I hate (the) rain.

It's going to rain.
It's gonna rain.
（今にも降りそうな雨雲を見て）

It's a little rainy.

I love rainy days.
I hate rainy days.

Look! It's a thunderstorm.
There is a thunderstorm outside.

thunderstorm  /ˈθʌndəstɔːm/
「激しい雷雨」

lot's of thunder
lot's of lightning
lot's of rain

thunder  /ˈθʌndə/ 「雷鳴」
lightning  /ˈlaɪtnɪŋ/ 「稲妻が走る」

Bring an umbrella!
You need a raincoat.
waterproof boots

イギリスでは「長靴」のことを
wellington boots　
/ˈwelɪŋtən ˌbuːts/
と言います。

It's just drizzling.
It's just spitting.

drizzle   /ˈdrɪzl/「霧雨が降る、小雨が降る」

spit   /spɪt/「パラパラ降る」

It's pouring.
It's really coming down.

I am drenched by the rain.
I got drenched.

drenched   /drentʃt/
「びしょ濡れになる」

I am soaked by the rain.
I got soaked.

soaked   /səʊkt/
「ずぶ濡れの」

Look at that huge puddle!

puddles   /ˈpʌdls/
「水たまり」
