会社などで同僚などとは日常言葉で会話をしたりしますが、ビジネスでは日常言葉ではなく、プロフェッショナルな言葉を要求されます。

では、日常言葉をどのようにプロフェッショナルにするのか、

1) We'd like some more time to think about your offer.
「あなたの提案についてもう少し考える時間が欲しいです。」

think about --> consider  /kənˈsɪdə(r)/

-> We'd like some more time to consider your offer.

offer  /ˈɒfə(r)/  「提案、付け値」

2) I'm writing to ask about the status of our order.
「私達の注文の状況についてお聞きしたく（メール、手紙、など）書いています。」

ask about --> enquire/inquire

-> I'm writing to enquire/inquire the status of our order.

enquire （イギリス）/ɪnˈkwaɪə(r)/
inquire （アメリカ）/ɪnˈkwaɪə(r)/

status  /ˈsteɪtəs/ 「状況」
order  /ˈɔːdə(r)/ 「注文」

3) Did you buy the product in our online shop or in one of our stores?
 「あなたはその商品を私達のオンラインショップで購入しましたか、それとも店舗で購入しましたか？」

buy --> purchase  /ˈpɜːtʃəs/

-> Did you purchase the product in our online shop or in one of our stores?

stores  /stɔːz/ 

4) We are worried about the impact these changes will have on our business.
「それらの変更が私たちのビジネスに与える影響を心配しています。」

worried /ˈwʌrid/ --> concerned  /kənˈsɜːnd/

-> We are concerned about the impact these changes will have on our business.

5) Unfortunately, we don't have enough resources for this project.
「残念ながら、このプロジェクトのための十分な資金、要員がありません。」

enough --> sufficient  /səˈfɪʃnt/

-> Unfortunately, we don't have sufficient resources for this project.

Unfortunately  /ʌnˈfɔːtʃənətli/  「不運にも、残念ながら」
resources  /rɪˈsɔːsɪz/,  /rɪˈzɔːsɪz/ 「資金、要員、資源、資産」

6) Maybe we could discuss some other options.
「もしかしたら他の選択肢を検討できるかもしれませんね。」

Maybe --> Perhaps  /pəˈhæps/

-> Perhaps we could discuss some other options.

perhaps も日常言葉でよく聞かれますが、フォーマルな時は maybe ではなく、perhaps です。
