先ずは、

▸ Check they have time.
今電話で話す時間があるのかを確認します。

1) 「今電話をしても良いですか？」

Is now a good time to call?
Is this a good time to call?

2) 「ジャックさん、忙しいですか？」（友人に対して）

Are you busy Jack?

3) 「（今）自由に話せますか？」

Are you free to talk?

4) 「ちょっとしゃべる時間ありますか？」

Do you have a minute to have a quick chat?
Do you have a minute to speak?

chat   /tʃæt/   「おしゃべり」

5)「悪い時に電話しましたか？」

Have I rung at a bad time?

Have I caught you at a bad time?
「悪い時間にあなたを捕まえましたか？」
（悪い時間に電話したましたか？）

ring   rang   rung   「電話をする」
/rɪŋ/   /ræŋ/   /rʌŋ/
catch   caught   caught    「つかまえる」
/kætʃ/   /kɔːt/   /kɔːt/

次に、

▸ Give reason for call
「電話した理由を伝えます」

6) 「～について電話をしています」
I'm calling about + noun
I'm calling about + verb + ing

noun   /naʊn/   「名詞」
verb   /vɜːb/   「動詞」

I'm calling about a refund.
I'm calling about organising a meeting with

a refund   /əˈriːfʌnd/   「返金」
organise   /ˈɔːɡənaɪz/   「計画する」

7) [foramal、ビジネスなど]

「それは～に関することです」
It's with regard to + noun
It's with regard to + verb + ing

It's with regard to a refund.
It's with regard to organising a meeting with

8) [友人など]

「～についてです」
It's about + noun
It's about + verb + ing

Hiya Jack, it's about the party.
Hiya Jack, it's about playing football on Saturday.

9) 「～をしたい」
I'd like to + infinitive

I'm calling because I'd like to show you my CV.
Can we organise a time for me to bring it to you?

10) 「～のために電話をしています」
I'm phoning to + infinitive

I'm phoning to show you my CV.
